A Coin Appraisal Will Always Work
If you think that some clerk at a pawn shop or check cashing place is going to give you the cash you deserve, think again. Unlike buyers that have the resources for a real coin appraisal, these people may pay on appearance alone. This is not the correct way to do an appraisal, by the way.
Once you know the market value of your collections, you can get this in cash when you sell to a member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA). With them, you are in great hands and by getting the money you deserve, you can pay bills in a timely fashion. And even if all you want is an appraisal, you can do this at no charge and with no obligation to accept any compensation.
That way, you can be free from excess finance charges that tend to occur right after the holidays when you know you have gone beyond your limit.
